Batesian mimicry is where an animal will mimic the appearance of a species that a predator will avoid. In this picture I have a butterfly, it is hard to see but the butterfly's wings have eyes that looks like a species that would eat the butterfly's predator. Batesian mimicry is where an animal will mimic the appearance of a species that a predator will avoid.
